interview
Reno Meier - (Sin Starlett)
March 22, 2022
Metal music has been inspirational not only because of its effect as a type of music that can be robust, of course heavy, but it is also a life savoir. Yes, it was proven by many people telling that it made something in them that kept them sane, alive, motivated. The values of Heavy Metal can be interpreted by many, but they all cross the freedom of choice. There are those, including at present, that feel that the old way is slipping away, it has been slowly shadowed by something else, more marketable and trendier. The Swiss Sin Starlett come against that is currently rad and cool, taking that past into the future, and their new album "Solid Source Of Steel" says just that. Steinmetal had a good talk with the band's Reno Meier about the core of Metal, and how does it feel over the album

interview
Anders Sköld - (Veonity)
March 19, 2022
Against the odds, against the elements that are too powerful to come up against, a sort of a survival story in order to defeat the forces of evil. There are those that would argue that it is too much of cliché, nonetheless, in every story, no matter what is being thought of, has a moral. The Swedish Veonity bring forth a story of a boy that is a hero, a warrior with a shadow, a spirit that lives through him and fights a ferocious battle. Titled "Elements Of Power", the Swedish form of Metal has never sounded so strong. Steinmetal had to know more about the story and the album from its vocalist, Anders Sköld.

interview
Zellpike - (Hellspike)
March 6, 2022
Things have been on the rise, an escalation, some are quite visible, and some are dormant, silent, in waiting to erupt. On a daily basis, it becomes apparent that something wicked this way comes, yet it is still unknown when it will eventually strike, maybe never, who knows. Something is certain though, that Hellspike's guitarist, Zellpike, has quite a belly over things that have been happening, in particular with the pandemic and how the authorities use it for various gains. Introducing the band's new album, "Dynasties of Decay", once again through Metal On Metal Records, explores beyond Thrash Metal, and into traditional lands, along with the strong message. Steinmetal had a great chat with Zellpike, that had a lot on his mind about the world order.

interview
Andreas Glanz - (Re-Machined)
March 1, 2022
Hard to the crew, never letting go of the roots, being straight to the point, without anything that is unnecessary to add, because if it works, it works. Simplicity has never been a bad word in music, and in Rock and Metal it generated a whole lot of power. Letting the fans sing the songs, air guitar the riffs and simply having the moment, stand up and be counted. The veteran bunch of Re-Machined never tried to be more than they are, they portray their German essence as humble but with class. With their new album "Brain Dead" out there, Steinmetal had a good chat with songwriter and guitarist, Andreas Glanz, about the album, the period and more…
