Casket Music
.
interview
Fred Washburn - (Sparzanza)
March 19, 2009
I have to admit that the new
SPARZANZA
album caught me completely off guard; the addictive grooves and chorus along with the nice melodies convinced me to seek more info on this Swedish act and the band's singer
Fred Washburn
was more than kind to help me. So, read what he said while spinning the
In Voodoo Veritas
CD.

January 7, 2008
ICARUS WITCH
: Heavy Metal music done in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Established in in 2004, next year's
Roses On Whtile Lace
EP was just the teaser; 2005's
Capture The Magic

Songs For The Lost
does nothing less than reminding us of how fresh some old-school stuff may sound, when you have inspiration in performing the

interview
BZ, Jozzy and Rob - (Wendigo)
March 28, 2007
There are many times a band you don't know shit about attracts your attention and you can't do anything else but worship its incredible music. After the very nice Outcast by EKTOMORF, one more Hungarian band comes out of nowhere to make me lose my sleep with its debut masterpiece Let It Out. After my review, I thought it was time for an interview as well. This is what BZ (vocals), Jozzy (guitar) and Rob (bass) had to say.

interview
Doc Coyle - (God Forbid)
April 5, 2006
I didn't really know what to expect from this interview being that I don't think I have ever read a God Forbid interview. Doc Coyke (guitar) was a very cool guy and very talkative, Christ almighty. But seriously, he was a great guy and I look forward to seeing them open for Children Of Bodom. Here are his thoughts on the new album and video shoots.

March 22, 2006

Jesper Strömblad - (In Flames)
September 22, 2005
After playing an incredible set, In Flames' guitarist Jesper Strömblad (one of the most talented guitar players today, in my opinion) spoke with me about their upcoming album, Come Clarity, this year's Ozzfest and the upcoming tour with Motorhead.
interview
Dez Farfara - (DevilDriver)
August 12, 2005
While relaxing on their bus, not long after playing their set, Dez Farfara (singer, ex-Coal Chamber) kicked back with a beer and enlightened me on why being a part of Devildriver is hard to handle and why this debut festival tour, The Sounds Of The Underground, should happen every year...and I agree.
interview
Randy Blythe - (Lamb Of God)
August 3, 2005
While on one of their off days from The Sounds of The Underground Tour, Lamb of God vocalist, Randy Blythe, sat down with me over a cup of coffee and discussed this awesome tour, the future of Lamb of God and outrunning cops on golf carts.
interview
Dom Macaluso - (Throwdown)
July 24, 2005
Bassist Dom Macaluso was kind enough to share his thoughts and feelings about being on The Sounds of the Underground Tour and about Throwdown being labeled The next Pantera. He actually pulled his car over to give me this interview. I was scheduled to call him at 4:30 central time but when I called he said he had forgotten about the time change, since he's an hour ahead of me and was on his way to lunch with his dad. I told him that he could call me back when he was done and that was fine; instead he stopped his car to interview with me. That was very nice of him and I greatly appreciate that.
interview
Andrew Hercules & Sean Dooley - (The End)
July 13, 2005
Ok, those of you who have read my interviews before are probably familiar with the fact that I like to have fun during interviews and this one is no different. It's by far the most fun I've ever had during an interview because these guys are friends of mine (we met way before I ever thought about working for Metal Temple) and we were all shit faced drunk by the time we did this interview. In the text, I did notate certain areas where we laughed, but we pretty much laughed through the entire thing. This may be the most fun interview I've done yet, but it was also the most difficult to conduct. I recommend trying it sometime. Try to conduct a supposed serious interview with a couple of friends while being plastered drunk and having your best friend film the whole thing, who's also drunk, and see how well it goes. It's guaranteed fun!
Seriously, these guys are awesome. If you haven't heard them yet, (where the hell have you been) I highly recommend checking them out. It's great Hardcore Metal, almost like Opeth meet Dillinger Escape Plan... anyway, onto the interview...
interview
Sean Kane - (Gizmachi)
June 16, 2005
I had no idea who Gizmachi was before I was contacted about covering them. And, honestly, I am very glad that I was contacted about them. These guys are fricking unbelievable. Very rarely will I come across a new band that I totally like and have no complaints about. These guys have become one of my new favorites and their new album The Imbuing is in constant rotation in my CD player. They will be on this year's Ozzfest tour, and I highly suggest everyone checking them out. I know I'm looking forward to seeing them!
