The Filthy Seven
Shameless
It seems that Glam Rock and all its subgenres are truly coming back. It's excellent, because how we can deny the desire for girls, beers and tons of fun? Only SJW and other of political correctness followers would hate such things, because they are the essence of Rock 'n' Roll as we all know. To be offensive, blunt and truly nasty is something that Sleazy Rock is all about. The German band SHAMELESS understand clearly this truth, because "The Filthy 7" is a compendium of what the style is about.
In the band, we can see musicians from great and known names as TUFF, ALICE COOPER, PRETTY BOY FLOYD from Glam Metal. They even don't give a fuck if the 80s are over, and still deliver that nasty and energetic form of music with catchy melodies and great choruses, fine guitar riffs and solos, solid bass guitar and drums, and fine vocals. You'll understand that political correctness is not with them (to be honest, they don't care about it), because these sick bastards are here to make Rock 'n' Roll and to make you shake down to the ground. The album production is fine, gathering together a fine quality and the right amount of musical weight. But as a Glam Metal/Sleazy Rock album, it has to have an essential touch of dirtiness, and it has. All was done in a very good way, because the songs flow from the speakers in a great shape.
Be prepared, because these filthy and nasty seven guys are here to make you shake and tremble, and all their songs are excellent, specially the nasty and catchy "How the Story Goes" (what a lovely chorus and great backing vocals), the charming and sexist melodies of guitars on "Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car" (thanks gods for this song), the nasty Punk Rock/Rock 'n' Roll catching elements on "I Don't Wanna Know" and on the short "Can't Get Enough" (both showing a good work from bass guitar and drums), the funny and filled with energy "W.T.F R.U.", the accessible melodic lines of "Love Game", and the raw riffs of "Wild in the Night". But the album is excellent form the beginning to its end.
Listen to it, buy it and let it go, because these seven bastards don't care about what you have to say, just about the music they deliver, and what your girlfriend has to offer them...
