You know, I love this retro thing that's going on in Rock right now. One of the best examples of these bands is Overloaded. Their style is catchy, raucous with full solos, none of this two second nonsense you get so often now a days. Overloaded are not really a brooding band, for the most part, what they excel in is the fist pounding department. Their fun style would be perfect for an outlaw themed movie or tv show. So when the chance to interview these boys came up I could not pass it by.

After the break-up of legendary prog-metallers Psychotic Waltz, who released 4 studio albums of exceptional quality during the 90's, frontman Devon Graves (AKA Buddy Lackey) went on to form the equally-impressive Deadsoul Tribe. Over the course of 3 records, they have laid down some of the finest, most challenging progressive music of the last two decades, with comparisons being made to such legends as Jethro Tull and Tool.

Now as they are gearing up to release their fourth record The Dead Word, as well as release a new promo video, Graves has kindly taken the time out of his busy schedule to talk to Metal Temple about his many accomplishments, both past and present, as well as his hopes for the future.

Neil Fallon - (Clutch)

Clutch is a band that I've been listening to and following for about the past 7 years. I've seen them 3 times and each time is outstanding. Being granted this interview was a total honor. I met Neil (Fallon- singer) on his bus about an hour before they were to play. He was totally relaxed, down to earth and extremely hospitable. He spoke to me about being on The Sounds of The Underground Tour and the method and philosophies behind the immense band, Clutch.
