Pishach
Sabotage
India delivers the good old Thrash Metal.
Esoterrorcult
Karkosa
Black Metal can indeed be exciting, and this album surely is. What struck me most about the band was they are relatively new to the genre, but execute their music with precision and seasoned musicianship, and the album is every bit as frightening as you would want it to be. Who said Americans can’t steal a corner of this market?
Hatred Embodiment
Nemus Anima
The album had a few moments of creativity, but overall, lacked in imagination and proper songwriting. I hate to put it this way, but many of the riffs were generic and the vocals were sung without passion.
Self//Wound
Negative Prayer
From Portland,Oregon,USA comes this crushing band with the name of NEGATIVE PRAYER. The line-up consists […]
Wings Of Desire (Reissue)
Ruff Justice
Another look at the past.
The Fractal Ouroboros
Bull of Apis Bull of Bronze
As a fellow human who I believe is on the right path in life, I am 100% in agreement with their message. I have seen the destruction that others cause marginalized groups in the world, especially so called “religious” people. Beyond that, the music was fantastic. You can hear the anger and pain reflected in the music, and also the resolve. This was an album that a person with a conscience won’t soon forget.
Oath of Midnight Ashes
Luciferian Rites
Overall, besides being an album that just travels forward at the speed of light without relenting anything along the way, it was too one-dimensional and repetitive for me. It’s a shame too, because the band has talent, but it is buried.
The Fallen Princess
Damnationis
The symphonic elements didn’t take over the sound, but even if they did, we would be left with the music underneath, which is too simple and one-dimensional. Perhaps the oddest part of the band and album are that they a sextet from France, which is often known for its inventiveness in Metal.
No Signal
Xephyr
This Alternative Hard Rock quartet is truly great! Hear to it and get addicted!
Behind Closed Doors
Vendetta
Rescued from the sands of time, this release of this North American quintet shows how the scene isn't fair.
Hymns from the Apocrypha
Suffocation
Another earth-crushing release of the pioneers of North American Technical/Brutal Death Metal!
Zeppelin
Stuka Squadron
War is the worst thing of all, and this new release of this English Heavy Metal division depicts it with excellent music!
Temple of the Serpent
Solitary Sabred
A fine mix between US Metal, Heavy Metal and Power Metal is what this quintet is offering you, and you better take it!
Chapter One
Shaytan
A fine debut of this German Doom Metal cult!
2024
Ravenstine
Wow, this Hard Rock release is a link between the 80s and these days! What a great work!
Back to Nowhere
In Vain
Wow, this Spanish quartet in such mix between Heavy Metal, Power Metal and Thrash Metal really surprises the hearers!
Life In Black and White
Gone Savage
This Hard Rock/Rock 'n' Roll act from UK-based band is back for one more round.
One Beyond the Grave
Fatal Maim
A very good release of this fine North American Heavy/Power/Thrash Metal rescued from the sands of time.
Procul His
Drowned
Why in the blazes such good Old School Death Metal act from Germany has few releases? We want more!
A Storm of Steel
Domination Campaign
A fine Australian Death Metal act on its second release. For extreme Metal addicted!
Contrapasso
Herxheim
Overall, the album is full of odd time structures, harrowing elements, and a black filth that will cover the listener from head to toe. Fans of Black and/or Death Metal will find plenty to like here, and sounds that are outside the box.
Du dømmes til Død
Khold
Overall, besides some solid bass work, this album failed to excite me, and Black Metal can be very exciting.
Resurgence
Perpetua
Stylistically, for me, it’s a cross between Metalcore and Deathcore with intelligent Progressive elements blended into the music, and the album is designed to overwhelm the listener’s senses with a power driven straightforward without mercy, or regret.
Second To None

SYK
I haven’t heard an album that is this punishing, but also as intelligent as it is. Much of the album is reflective of formidable and burdensome guitar rhythms, and the band melds these bloody and raw abstract shapes into energetic omnipotence, with the hands of a skilled alchemist. This has to be a contender for “album of the year.”
Whispers Of Fear / Into The Forbidden
Intense Confession
A small blast from the past.
Wings of Steel
Wings of Steel
I’m gonna make this as simple and easy as possible to our wonderful head banging readers, if you haven’t heard of WINGS OF STEEL yet, do yourself a favor and immediately check them out, they have everything you could possibly want in a heavy metal band and I promise you will love them from the very first listen.
The Deepening
Vemod
“The Deepening” will leave hoarfrost on your turntable and summon all varieties of unholy entities . . . like existential musings and cosmic fear.
Numb
Have Mercy
With some work HAVE MERCY may have been able to condense “Numb” to a vaguely interesting EP.
World Undone
Void Below
Being a huge fan of H.P.Lovecraft's work I have a soft spot for Metal bands […]
Distant Glow
Artificial Language
Obviously talented as a band, this album has a little bit of everything that I like with my multiple course meal of Metal, including choppy, tight-spun guitar and bass arrangements, dexterous drumming, the right amount of keyboards (although this guy would not complain if there were more), and an excellent, versatile vocalist.
Five Angry Man
Dymytry
Masked Metal from Czech Republic.
Swallowed By Hell
Morbid Saint
“Swallowed By Hell” is a classical Thrash Metal journey visiting the best elements of the genre: pace, aggression, flesh-ripping guitar riffing, excellent lead guitar solos, and relentless drumming
Savage Dawn
Iron Curtain
IRON CURTAIN deliver an album that is a reminiscence of classical Speed and Heavy Metal of the early 80s
Exodus: Shattered Earth Saga Part 1
Nebularis
They have talent, and the songwriting was quite good at times. I also believe that the balance on the album in terms of the different instruments was solid. They just need to find a way to put it all together.
A Tale of Fire
Omnivide
The compositions on the album are as tenacious and imposing as the angles in the band’s logo. Each song packs a list of surprises that are like colorful candy being fed to you just when you are beginning to get hungry. Obviously talented, the quartet never lets their talent outshine their songwriting, although the flashes they do show will leave you speechless. How is this band not signed to a major record label?
