WITCHCRAFT, what a refreshing break from the sameness of sound, style, and album concepts, that is running ramped through the music industry. All I can say is, thank you.
"Legend" is a great piece of work, very gritty, very 70s, with a psychedelic feel to it. It is BLACK SABBATH, PENTAGRAM, and WITCH, all combined into one single sound pattern. Magnus Pelander's vocals are very mellow, but tight, and really shine on "Ghosts House" and "Dystopia". Every track is unique on its own, yet it carries the same groove and tone throughout the album.
I am impressed as hell with "Legend", even though I am not really a fan of this particular genre. It is an interesting combination of groove Metal that is tight, yet mellow, with each instrument strong, but blended. "Legend" has no direct theme or concept, but doesn't feel fragmented, with the album features songs about personal struggle, politics, death, and religion (let's not forget Satan.. he's on there too).
All in all, I'd give it a 9 outta 10. Until next time, please stay well, and live free! Cheers!!
