The Warning Signal
The Long Escape

Have you ever come upon a band, or an album that you instantly had to focus on, on the labor within, and all that time you were going one song by another hoping you will find your sweet-spot? "The Warning Signal" is a lay that you will find so familiar, brand new and refreshing, yet you will have trouble with keeping clarity on the songs; mainly because you already have had heard this kind of creation.
THE LONG ESCAPE is a French Prog RockMetal band based in Paris, founded in 2009 by all four of present members. Carrying a spirit and spicing it all around with Progressive Rock blending and mixing with Metal, this quintet released their third studio manifest in May, this year.
Let's get something straight - this album has its ups and downs and I'll focus myself on to songs I was fond of listening. The marker and the top numera of "The Warning Signal" is "World Going Down" (even though I had to listen to almost whole album to find it, I don't regret). 11th song in the playlist is something I am sure I haven't had the chance of hearing before. Combo of Progressive Metal and some Industrial sound, even Electronic elements make a prefect unit, a must-hear. "Homo Weirdiculus" is another thumb-up creation - in this one you can feel the energy blossoming and bursting; don't get too nasty with the melancholic parts of it; the way they're combined is just amazing. "Million Screens" and "Carnival Of Deadly Sins" are pointers that show how much this band is actually capable of doing, of making something new, unseen and the true self of THE LONG ESCAPE.
Over all, this 48 minutes they have made and tagged are pretty noble, a decent journey, indeed. I cannot say I enjoyed every minute of it, but I found my cheers and it was interesting.
