Sacro Ordine - Heavy Metal Thunderpicking album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: SACRO ORDINE; signed via Sliptrick Records, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Heavy Metal, on their debut album entitled: "Heavy Metal Thunderpicking" (released April 10th, 2018).

Since formation in the turn of the millenium; the quintet in question have a Demo and a Live Album in their entire discography so far, I am introduced with their debut record entitled: "Heavy Metal Thunderpicking" (almost 20 years later since creation, damn...). 9 tracks ranging at around 39:12; SACRO ORDINE arrange an intricately designed development of hard-hitting Heavy Metal distinctions, starting off with a short .40s introduction which opens with "Ace Of Clubs"; I experience a solid slab of concrete grit and a grandiose manifestation of bouncy, crunchy riffs and solos - with a battering aesthetic of organic substances that grooves with power and strength. Thumpy executions are profusely robust, and diversely dynamic too.

Consisting of Paolo Fumis on vocals; the frontman delivers a consistent contrast of clean, high-pitched screams and yells which are adroitly proficient. "Fate's Embrace" demonstrates the band's progressively technical elements; as complex, dextrous duo Carlo Venuti & Davide Oliveri efficiently showcase a blistering attribution of rhythmic melodies and deadly injections of thunderous heaviness. "Earthshaker" distributes constructive instrumentation and musicianship; as the band dominates with unique and experimental implementations, as the formula fabricates with the True Metal ramification - reminding me of ROSS THE BOSS a little.

"Tears Of Light" has an anthemic characteristic, balanced with extremely enlightening pulverization pummelling from heavyweight powerhouses Luca Komavli (on drums) & Claudio Livera (on bass) - showcasing audible savageness and primitive hammering skills. "Four Kings" assaults with fluidly polished pounding, and a mid-tempo flair which captivates one with an elegantly enjoyable discovery. Rampaging with more onslaughts of brutally raw rhythms, "Endless Worm" strikes with a punchline foundation of razor-sharp harmonies – ramming with forceful precision, excelling with borderline creativity craftsmanship, killer stuff.

"Stripes On The Sand" embellishes a fulfilling management of musical adequacy and malevolent, yet vehement songwriting qualities. Overall concluding the record with the epic finale song: "The Blood Of Your Roots"; I was surprised with this one, while I have heard this before - the production still grabbed me, keeping me hooked all throughtout.

Good stuff, worth the time.<
