War and fear reign mercilessly throughout the Middle East region, but even among chaos and death spread by bombings and shooting, Metal can breed as flowers of peace. From the region, specifically from Lebanon, we have a good name coming, PHENOMY. The quintet recently released their first album, called "Once and for All". They still have a ways to go, need some more shows and rehearsals, but the band is talented, creating a form of Thrash Metal with good melodies from traditional Heavy Metal. Of course, the clear influence of METALLICA and FLOTSAM & JETSAM are clear on the instrumental work, with some extreme ones on the vocals. They unleash a very good and catchy melodies' set, but some improvement must be done, just because they are a bit immature for now.

"One and for All" has a good sound quality, indeed. All the musical instruments are clear (pay attention on bass guitar parts on "Unleash the Beast" and you'll understand what I mean), with very good doses of musical weight and a clean aesthetics. But it could be way better. It's good, but not perfect. The cover, created by Ali Samhoun is really very, very good. They need to mature a bit more, as I said above, but they are on the right path. Songs as the aggressive "A Call to Bloodshed" (what lovely melodies on guitars parts), the very good arrangements presented on "Unleash the Beast" (great work from bass guitar and drums, with fine tempo changes), the good melodic work of vocals on "Once and for All" (besides the greater part of time, we can hear good harsh voices), the instrumental one called "Triumph" with its very good technique (it begins melodic and tender, then becomes aggressive, showing very good guitar solos), the good abrasive slow tempos and melodic voices on "The Haunting", and the long and filled with good variations "Under These Ruins" (but the intro is a bit longer than the necessary).

Immature but with a monstrous potential, I truly want to hear more of their music when the band gets in the right point. For now, they are good.
