LOVE UNDER COVER is band from Gothenburg, Sweden which was formed by Mikael Carlsson. Their debut album "Set the Night on Fire" of 2012 was a fantastic killer with great Rock music. In this band is great mix of musicians - vocalist and keyboardist Mikael Erlandsson (LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM, SALUTE), Mikael Carlsson (Bass, Guitars, Keyboards, Vocals), guitarist Martin Kronlund (GYPSY ROSE, PHENOMENA, SALUTE), drummer Perra Johnsson (COLDSPELL).

"Into The Shadows" rapidly became the most favorite, my number one tune. This one felt rather similar to several of THE POODLES hits, amazing melodic guitaring, fine keyboards and of course memorable peak moments. "A Fight" returned me back to the keyboards infested AOR of the 80's mixed with a modern flame, inspiring hoarse vocals that are so hearty, singing well written lyrics that aren't that cheesy. "Toy Soldier", a MARTIKA cover, has a great balladry singing and amazing chorus, an enticing performance for a classic. "The Game Is On" has an awesome feel, with heavier riffs al'a DOKKEN and GOTTHARD, melodic power is pouring out of this one. "Crushing Stones" is an energetic pacer, killer melodic cracker while "Closer To The Truth" & "Life Is Easy" symbolize a cheery vibe, kind of BON JOVI like, tight in their rhythm presentation and guitaring. Worth to listen are also: Melodic Hard Rocker "No Place Like Home" with a few acoustic sounds and heartwarming leads, "Playboy No 7" with a kick-ass tempo and boogie riffs and catchy keyboards, "Miracle" with decisiveness, fresh and Hammond organs. Lastly, nice rocking sounds on "Fantasy Man" with amazing vocals.

LOVER UNDER COVER, both songwriting and production, of a high rated level. As a Hard Rock fan, it didn't take me much time to figure its quality. I enjoyed the debut and this one was no different. This is unbelievable how many ideas these guys have and their transfigure into are closer to perfection. This album is full of positive energy & beautiful melodies. Respect for them. Highly recommend for classic melodic Hard Rock enthusiastic fans.
