Road Out Of Nowhere
Lethargy

Road out of Nowhere is the debut offering from Welsh rockers Lethargy and I have to say it does not disappoint! The band has been on the circuit for a few years now and this album is a long time coming...
As soon as I heard the opening track, Black Gold, I was instantly impressed by the way Phil Humphreys' voice just blends with the dark acoustics of the guitar before all hell breaks loose; this song has everything you want in an opener.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any better the second track. Little Emperor surpasses what I heard before and I have to admit that this is one of the best tracks I have heard for a long time. The production on this album is fantastic and thumbs up to Tim Hammil who produced the album along with the band.
You can hear a lot of influences on this CD like Alice in chains, Pearl Jam and Perfect Circle but they have taken this and made it into something that should see this band progressing towards a much wider audience - this could easily be album number Two, Three or Four as this is a really tight band.
I don't think it will be long before we see this band singed to a major label if this debut is anything to go by.
