Lesbian Bed Death - Born To Die On VHS album cover

LESBIAN BED DEATH are Gothic Metal Band from Stoke-On-Trent, England. "Born To Die On VHS" is the bands 6th album & was released late 2019. The band have funded the creation of this latest album through the generosity of the fans who helped raise the funds needed to record and produce the new album. The album contains mainly cover songs due to the fact that rhythm guitarist Mr Peach had wanted to create this piece of work for some time. The cover songs come from movie soundtracks such as The Lost Boys, Frightnight and Critters. The album was produced and engineered by Alex Jockel at The Lizard Lounge, Stoke-on-Trent (UK)  and distributed by Shellshock. The official release date for the album "Born To Die On VHS," September 17th 2019. LESBIAN BED DEATH released the album under Psychophonic Records.

To summarise a few tracks from the 13 song album, I will point out a few highlights. The album opens with the song "Fury," a song which sets the pace for the rest of the album. The instrumentals are played well & the vocals sung with passion & clarity. The song has some cracking guitar riffs throughout. "My name is anger and I will destroy you" lyrics to give a teaser, the song is powerful and deep. "You Can't Hide From The Beast Inside" is a fine track, with very true words "you can't run from the beast inside of you." The songs are easy to listen to & learn to sing along to as the vocals are crisp and concise while the music is not over powering. Another good track from the album is "Pet Sematary" which is 3 minutes 14 seconds long and is a song about life & death. Another teaser from "Born To Die On VHS" is song number 8 "Lost In The Shadows" which is a song that is another fine example of the powerful musical and vocal talents of LESBIAN DEATH BED. The title track of the album "Born To Die On VHS" is a fast paced song and also has a fun video attached available on youtube.

The band have shown throughout the album that they are well versed in creating an album which is fun to listen to as well as one which would be easy to learn for those who enjoy singing along to the lyrics. Another powerfully voiced female artist showing how it's done! As LESBIAN BED DEATH are already a well established band, with a huge following, I don't think any of the fans old or new will be disappointed in the new album. It's fun, fiery and bold! With 6 album releases and 4 single releases I'm certain we will hear more from the band in the future. At the moment they have a few U.K gigs in England, but we hope to see more dates added at a later date. Overall a great album to listen to & review, no disappointment on my side!
