Perfect Sunday
Instant Boner

Any good Psychedelic/Stoner Rock band will be able to distinguish itself from any band in that market, never mind any band in general. INSTANT BONER has definitely accomplished this. Using styles and techniques common with Psychedelic Rock bands, the listener gets a sense of what it really means to be "far out, man."
Bringing a good bit of energy to this album, while not sacrificing the solos demonstrating the use of odd instrumentation, I was graced with the pleasant flow and progression of each song. There are plenty of solid guitar riffs accompanied by the timely snare, and I caught myself bobbing my head happily. One of the best features of this album is that the sounds from each instrument are decisive, crisp, and clear through the audio channels.
On the flip side, there are very mellow tones and progressions and in the title track, a large portion of the song was almost PINK FLOYD-esque, including a few notes from a smooth saxophone. Sticking to the more Stoner Rock attributes, the listener can pinpoint a heavier, punchier sound. The slower parts in some songs in which there is a lot of distortion on guitar do give off a nice BLACK SABBATH atmosphere.
Overall, I found this album very listenable. There aren't many bands out there that produce an album with the range of styles that I found in this one. Fans of a band with the name, INSTANT BONER, should find this to be a great addition to their music collection.<
