Divination
Helslave
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: HELSLAVE; signed via Black Market Metal, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Melodic Black Metal, on their 2nd EP entitled "Divination" (released June 23rd, 2017).
Since formation in 2009; the quintet in question have a Demo ("Helslave" (released in 2010) an EP ("Ethereal Decay" (released March 19th, 2013) & a full-length album ("An Endless Path" (released June 16th, 2015); I'm introduced to their newly released EP "Divination". Constructing a solid slab of hard-hitting Melodic Black Metal adroitness; HELSLAVE demand one to thrash like a maniac to this savagely sinister deliverance. 4 extreme tracks, ranging at around 15:55 - you can expect concise brutality in this here release. Opening with "Summoning The Eternal Eclipse", I'm immediately blown away by the sheer devastation that the quartet provide. Diego arranges a monstrously developed vocalization process that showcase complex growls and grunts of immeasurable strength and skill, the songwriting distributes unprecedented melodies of extreme destruction and power.
"Lord Of Lies" consists of more consistently driven harmonics in which proficiently demonstrates intensely hasty riffs from dexterous duo guitarists: Jari & Lorenzo; the pair efficiently supply a thunderous amount of coherently groovy riffs, amalgamated with a merciless velocity in which stimulates the body - relentlessly. The sound production is massive, dominated with a formulaic foundation of Blackened Death Metal attributes at their disposal. "The Spawn Of Astaroth" prominently comprises of grime maliciousness, showcasing powerhouse drummer Francesco with intricately designed blast beats of immense pummeling - pulverizing your soul with diligent progression in mind. "Desecration" concludes this menacing EP with more outstanding performances from bassist Luca, who overall distinctively flourished with original and memorable characteristics that were all round masterful.
As short as the EP is, I can clarify that "Divination" is certainly worth your time, as well as easily repeated – if you're looking for a discovery that is distinguishing and unparalleled, HELSLAVE with rock your being with a succulent experience until you drop dead.<
