Dreamtone - Unforeseen Reflections Demo album cover

As I mentioned in my last demo review, I'm more than delighted to be constantly receiving stuff from bands from all over the world! The bands who send me stuff see it as a good promotional opportunity and I simply feel honored to be describing their resulting effort (well it doesn't always have a positive result but nevermind...) through a few paragraphs of lifeless text. You see music's not only about the "big guys but it's also about all the "little guys (and girls) trying to go big with their bands. Everyone deserves a shot at glory, so let's get it on with 🙂
Dreamtone are from Turkey and I'm going to introduce them to you through their own bio (and then I'll make my comments about their demo - fair enough, right?):
Back in 1998, under the name "Exotherm, Onur formed a band and started working on his music. With Oganalp and other members joining them in 2000m the band recorded their first demo. After this demo, the band changed it's name to Dreamtone, as they felt that they needed a band name that suited their music better. Between 2002 and 2004 Dreamtone recorded an unreleased album (not used because of some technical inadequacies), a single and the demo-album "Unforeseen Reflections.
Dreamtone is a young band with an age average of 20, yet is already being underlined by local e-zines (in Turkey), radio shows and Metal music stores. With the single "Pandemonium, they were included in the playlists of some radio shows in Chile, New Zealand, Germany, Hungary and some other countries too. Today, "Pre-arranged Overture, "This Flickering Light, "A Faith Collapsed are some songs that are being played by local radio shows.
After the release of "Unforeseen Reflections, Dreamtone members began taking musical education from respected instructors, in a move to improve their musical potentials.
Dreamtone is currently working at Studio Midas - with whom Ominous Gried, Suicide, Comma, Cidesphere and more bands also work - with tonemeister Erkan Tatoglu, one of the most respected Metal guys of the underground scene in Turkey and his partner Cuneyt Caglayan.
Well, well, well....the bio seems pretty cool but what do my ears decipher? I must admit that I am pretty impressed by the instrumentation done by these guys, I mean, they almost sound as if they're this great, world-known, power Metal band which just recorded an album together with an entire orchestra...
These guys have simply been musically educated....yeah I know you read that in their Biography but hey....I could tell you I was Pamela Anderson's boyfriend after Tommy Lee, would you believe me? It's that obvious! They're mainly a melodic, power Metal band but they've got incredible progressive tendencies! Which simply means that if they get even better (their singer ought to work hard on his voice to make it a bit better) these guys will probably be snubbing my interview requests in 5 or 6 years, haha!
On the tip of the top I'll simply mention that I'm close to saying that I enjoyed the whole album (well, most of it) and anyone interested in this Prog/Power Metal discovery should contact either me or the band directly and get hold of a copy of this demo!
P.S. Excellent cover artwork!
