Hold your shield, draw your sword and get ready to enjoy an epic adventure with the band DRAGONY through their new and fanciful EP entitled "Lords Of The Hunt". Released on Limb Music, the EP features two unreleased songs, four re-recorded from the first album, a Karaoke version of "Shadowhunters", a version of "Burning Skys", "The One And Only" and "Sparta" are bonus tracks from previous albums.

The sextet includes Frederic Brünner (Drums), Herbert Glos (bass), Manuel Hartleb (Keyboards), Andreas Poppernitsch (Guitars), Simon Saito (Guitars), Siegfried "The Dragonslayer" Samer (Vocals). With techniques and deep knowledge of the genre, they soon conquered listeners who love Glory Metal. This extended forty-one minute EP is, in a certain way, a tribute of the band to their fans and a celebration of their ten years of career.

The first unreleased track which is also in the EP name, "Lords Of The Hunt" is actually a trip to the medieval period, surrounded by melody and theme lyrics, a powerful chorus and several passages where the vocals alternate and stand out. "Call Of The Wild" is another great song, very rhythmic and pleasing to the ears with a powerful lead guitar. As far as re-recordings of "Longest Nights" and "Alcador", we can say that the band did a good job improving its greater successes of their first work. My favorite song from this album is "Sparta - Elegy of Heroes" from the band's first album, it's the biggest EP track with approximately seven and a half minutes in length.

"Lords Of The Hunt" is another excellent work from the band DRAGONY, with good production and mixing. In addition to that, the band brings new life to the classics. This album is highly recommended for fans of bands like DRAGONFORCE OR RHAPSODY.
