One Horn Guitar - DEMO
Dim Gall

One thing I hate about doing reviews is whenever I have to deliver a telegraphic one! There are two reasons for doing a telegraphic review: i) the work you present sucks or ii) there's really not much to say about it. One Horn Guitar falls into the second category.
Dim Gall is a Greek newcomer guitar player and this is his debut recording. According to his bio, he mentions that he has been part of bands in the past but doesn't mention any of their names (OK, he does at his website: The Spooks, Wide View, Xlarge, Rock4). One Horn Guitar is a three-tracked demo recording. All three songs are instrumental and as you can imagine the leading instrument is the guitar.
The songs can be considered fairly good, not an eye opening experience but definitely a good presentation of Dim's abilities. As a guitarist it is quite obvious he's more of a Rock fan rather than a Metal one (though he mentions several Metal guitarists as influences). Thumbs up also for the presence of the almighty Nigel Foxxe (you rule, dude) in this demo! Apart all this I am really looking forward to listen to more complete compositions from this guitar player, preferably with vocals on them.
