Black Metal bands coming from India are very rare. In fact, the cultural heritage of the second most populous country in the world is very different from Scandinavia, where the extreme Metal was created. But nowadays this kind of music is increasingly responded to all corners of the world.

DIABOLUS ARCANIUM is a band that has managed to confirm its existence with the release of "Spellbound" the first full length album, in a register that turns around Melodic and symphonic approach like many Norwegian bands as DIMMU BORGIR. This album is very generous in terms of melody and orchestration. Keyboards are permanently present on almost all the songs, which promotes the atmospheric side in this music. Try to listen to "Frozen Dreams" or "Herald Of Darkness" to feel everything.

But there is also a huge work on guitars, all the riffs are richly composed and interpreted. The only downside in all this is that the production is relatively poor that does not putting forward the guitars and also the Bass which is almost absent in the mix. In fact the poor production is something more than normal in the Black Metal bands for reasons I don't know.

One of the things I've enjoyed is the high level of the singer Hex, who operates his voice in a great manner for very convincing results. The band members do not hesitate to always try to make the surprise on changing their directions on the arrangements. The track "Of Fire And Ashes" refers to all what I said.

DIABOLUS ARCADIUM shows a great passion for extreme music, their potential to create a more personalize style pass through the perseverance, so do not hesitate to support this band.
