Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: DEATHPROOF; signed via Art Gates Records, hailing from Spanish grounds - performing Thrash/Groove Metal, on their 2^nd album entitled: "Evolve Or Die" (released November 24^th, 2017).

Since formation in 2010; the quintet in question have 1 full-length album behind them, I'm introduced to their 2^nd record: "Evolve Or Die". DEATHPROOF deliver an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Thrash/Groove Metal characteristics, arranging a constructively developed distinction of organic aesthetics and unique substances. 8 tracks ranging at around 35:43; the quartet provide a solid slab of consistently driven instrumentation & musicianship. "No Way" opens up the record, and immediately I'm hit with a savagely sinister sound production/songwriting process with proficiently executed riffs and solos which chugs with groovy breakdowns and crunchy punchlines which are prominently excelling. "Voices (Breakdown Manual)" has chunky melodies and hooks that captivatingly grabs me, enlightening and dominantly progressive technicalities are diligently composed – one of the record's more stunning tracks indeed.

Consisting of complex dexterity from guitar duo Manu Madrid & Ismael Minguez; the rhythmic balance here is efficiently bouncy, dirty and gritty – in which gets you relentlessly stimulated in this blisteringly thunderous establishment. "Demons" is where vocalist Daniel Mattingly showcases his diverse variety of clean, to raspy brutality. It's a concrete balance, which manifests with a grandiose of eccentric fulfilments. "The Prey Becomes The Hunter" showcases a significant amount of thumping, raw grooves that chugs with power and primitive executions. Powerhouse drummer Pablo smashes his set with lightning strikes, and fiercely pummelling attributes that conjure up an invigorating experience. "Unrest Sleep" has more of these salubrious elements which implement nimble bassist's Busy's pounding harmonic melodies – all sounds stellar so far and keeps me energized with admirably fascinating results.

The titular tracks keeps me motivated; never slowing down as the battering velocity provides further slamming, and an abundant of rhythmic clarity - swerving with menacing components of vicious hostility. "Poisoned World" progressively evolves with thicker contrast in which is quite the juggernaut of a Metal Thrashing Mad tune, the drums roll heads and the guitars brutalize with punishing incitement. "Cosmic Ball" overall concludes "Evolve Or Die", which demonstrates a nice block of hammering contributions – deadly grunts juxtaposed with those clean singing methods from the earlier song make a return, still portraying an elegantly exquisite performance. DEATHPROOF are certainly in their prime, and while it may seem like nothing new - the record distributes weighted amalgamations as well as unprecedented robustness, the band crafted a gem for the ages that's for sure.
