Yet again I got an EP to review. So I had to dig in order to find some info about the band, however I didn't add the dig to deep. It seems that DEAD EARTH POLITICS (DEP) are well known in the scene of Groove Metal, and even Brutal metal. DEAD EARTH POLITICS are from the USA, or should I say Austin Texas, which seems to have a major metal scene.

This DEAD EARTH POLITICS EP is named "The Queen Of Steel". In the first listen I can tell you that DEAD EARTH POLITICS sound like a mature band that was born from bands like PANTERA bred with IRON MAIDEN (not kidding). It's Groove Metal on the verge of Brutal , however does have many NWOBHM riffing alongside the Brutal Metal riffing. Also the Vocals have a massive diapason between growling to clear MAIDEN vocals, so cool. Reminds me of 3 INCH OF BLOOD. (yes I know)

I didn't believe I that I would write or say this in my like, an EP from Hell. A great band that will continue to break stages and create mayhem with amazing Metal production .HAIL
