Today I have CEMETERY LUST from Portland, Oregon and their latest release Rotting In Piss. My first thought was this is SLAYER had a love child with BATHORY while they were smoking meth. I never really thought I would ever say that in a sentence but here we are, and it actually fits really well together. The first piece is called "Midnight Invasion" and its pretty damn Thrashy. So we are off to a really good start and I hope it keeps up throughout the entirety of the album.

Raypist, Disgustor, Squid Nasty and Andrew Angeldust are all really onto something here. Blackened Thrash wasn't really something I cared for, but they pull it off with a perfect balance of Thrash and Black Metal. Up at number two is "Piss on Your Grave" and it even throws a little bit of Death Metal vocals out at us which is really cool.

"Fatal Infestation" comes in at three and "Funeral Home Massacre" at four, both chock full of great guitar solos. They were quite enjoyable and really pleasing to the ears. "Bowels of Blasphemy" jumps straight into ripping out what little of your black soul you have left. "I am Trash" should be called I am Thrash. It is a really great song and stands out to me.

"Hideous Nature" is my favorite off the album. It has great gutterals which I am a huge fan of. "Witches Seduction" is my second favorite. I don't really think Rotting in Piss has a single bad song on it so far but we do have one last song to listen to so lets hop to it! The ninth and final track is "Awaiting Execution". It is definitely the most tame song on the album and a fantastic way to end it. Keep up the good work!
