Alpha Safari is music experiment's codename and the result is called Commercial Suicide. The scientists who are involved in this experiment are members of Entombed (Ulf Cederlund - guitar) and Misery Loves Co. (Patrik Wiren - vocals). The meaning of this work is not what you might be thinking. This album is something different from the works of the bands that I aforementioned. The music is something between indie-Rock and indie post Hardcore.
The album has a lot of cool songs with a lot of melody, with a melancholic feeling reminding us some nu-Punk sounds and bands with music similar to bands like Katatonia, but it doesn't mean that they aren't songs with power and speed like the song which opens the album and I think that it's the album's best song -  Outsing the pigs. There are also Rock songs on this album like Teenage Stupidity and Almost Right. Also great is the artwork which is like a plan of an electric circuit.
Commercial Suicide is a very interesting album but it is not an album which it will be loved by most of the Metal fans. It only appeals to indie Rock fans and fans of Sonic Youth, Foo Fighters and Dinosaur Jr.
