Legendary UK metallers VENOM announced the cancellation of the appearance on this year's edition of 'High Voltage Festival'. Here's the official announcement:

"VENOM's tour manager has now announced that because of contractual differences the promoter has now unexpectedly withdrawn the offer for VENOM to play at the 'High Voltage Festival' in the UK this year. We announced the concert in February in good faith as we were informed that everything had been agreed in principle, although this is now clearly not the case. The band are very disappointed not to be playing at the festival, although their management are now looking at a possible replacement show in the UK for later this year. The band and management would like to apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused to any of their fans. Anyone who bought a ticket for the festival especially to see VENOM, and would now prefer to get a refund, should contact the ticket outlet where they purchased the ticket."
