Sun Speaker is a blackened deathmetal band from Phoenix, Arizona. Forming in early March of 2017, vocalist Randy Abbott and guitarists Tyler Allen, and Ryan Todd, set out to explore the depths of blackened deathmetal. Not wanting to adhere to clichéd tropes, the three decided to put their own spin on things by blending a variety of influences into their sound, making it uniquely theirs. Swelling ambient melodies, accompanied by thundering drums, set to a back drop of melancholic chordal passages and riffs topped with lyrics involving love, loss, and hope, the band came into their own, supplying a particular sense of gravity in their music.

Sun speaker is a band we came across through a mutual friend , upon hearing their debut record Ov Lustra we were amazed by the sheer brutality and song writing level while while preserving the root of black and death perfectly.

It is with great excitement that Sun Speaker announces our signing with Swedish extreme music label, Black Lion Records. Black Lion was brought to our attention by our good friend and publicist, Rebel Pyro Musick, who informed us of the labels interest in us. Black Lion's love for heavy music and their unwavering tenacity to support their artists is something that, we as artists, admire and respect a great deal. Sun Speaker will be releasing its newest record, 'Tempestas,' through Black Lion Records, and we are looking forward to a successful release and what the future holds for the partnership between Black Lion Records and Sun Speaker.
