RIVAL SONS will return to Europe in October for dates supporting THE ROLLING STONES.
Finishing up their long run of summer dates in August, Long Beach band RIVAL SONS had previously stated they wouldn't be back on the road again until 2018, but an offer from THE ROLLING STONES changed their mind.
Guitarist Scott Holiday states:
"Yeah... we came home prepared to take the rest of the year off of the road (as we announced) but before we could even get our boots off, these Stones shows came in! And NO ONE says no the STONES!"
RIVAL SONS will support THE ROLLING STONES on 3rd October in Copenhagen and on the 9th October in Dusseldorf.
Holiday enthuses:
"It's obvious and cliché to go on about how much they influenced us and how important they are. But it's also completely true. I've referenced and studied them on a really deep level since the day I first picked up the guitar. I've thought about playing with them since picking up that guitar!"
RIVAL SONS will play a string of headline shows in between dates with THE ROLLING STONES in Scandinavia and the Netherlands.
