Belgian's biggest heavy music festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, is proud to announce its first headliner for the 23rd edition. Closing out the festival on Sunday, June 24 will be no less than the legendary OZZY OSBOURNE, bringing thousands of metalheads to a headbanging frenzy. The iconic singer remains one the most influential heavy metal singers in history and most entertaining live performers to date. OZZY OSBOURNE brings his "Farewell World Tour" to Graspop Metal Meeting 2018 to celebrate five decades of performing, marking this his sixth time at the festival.
Tickets go on sale on later Saturday, November 18, at 10 am through Ticketmaster.be and ProximusGoForMusic.be.
Five decades. 18,262 days. More than 2,500 shows. On his upcoming farewell world tour, OZZY OSBOURNE ' Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy® winning singer and songwriter ' will celebrate more than five decades as a performer (both as a solo artist and as lead singer of Black Sabbath, which formed in 1968). This tour, expected to take OZZY around the world with dates into 2020, will mark the end of global touring for the legendary artist, though he will continue to perform select live shows.
"People keep asking me when I'm retiring," OZZY says. "This will be my final world tour, but I can't say I won't do some shows here and there."
Graspop Metal Meeting is excited and honored to be included in OZZY OSBOURNE's Farewell World Tour. Raise your horns in the air and train those neck muscles as OZZY comes to say goodbye to his Belgian fans in Dessel on Sunday, June 24.
OZZY will be joined by longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums), and Adam Wakeman (Keyboard).
