After three long years, Canadian band Hammerhands is releasing their second full-length - the aptly titled LARGO FORTE. This newest effort is a huge step forward for the band, without departing from the elements that define HAMMERHANDS. The record often digresses to unsettling nods to Italian genre film scores and Cohen-esque vocal styles - juxtaposing crushing jams with cinematic atmosphere.

There's no bullshit or silly gimmicks when it comes to this album ' it's just a gigantic record that practically begs you to turn the volume all the way the fuck up. Also, it's called Largo Forte! Largo meaning slow, and forte meaning loud, which is true about the album on both accounts.
