Canadian thrash metal pioneers EXCITER are scheduled to release their new album, "Death Machine", on September 24 via Massacre Records. The effort will be made available as a standard CD, a digipak and a limited-edition (500 copies) gatefold LP.

Regarding the musical direction of the new EXCITER material, bassist Rob "Clammy" Cohen told Greece's "Metalzone" radio show in late June, "It's classic EXCITER, definitely. It's fast and in your face - straight up."
