New Orleans sludge mastersCrowbarhave announced their eleventh new LP titledThe Serpent Only Lies, due outOctober 28, 2016."We are so excited about our 11th studio record! The Serpent Only Lies is a powerful follow up of our last studio album'Symmetry in Black'."says frontman and riff lord KirkWindstein.

Steamhammer / SPV will release the new album within Europe. Two physical formats will be available ' a digipak CD and a proper vinyl version (transparent green 180 gr. Vinyl, gatefold sleeve, printed inner including CD containing the entire album)

The awesome artwork for the album was done by Eliran Kantor, who was also working for bands like Testament, Hatebreed, Soulfly and several others in the past.

After countless gigs in the USA the band will return to Europe for live shows.

The first show will take place at November 2[sup]nd[/sup], 2016 ' all the dates that are confirmed so far can be found below. And there are more news to tell.

The tour cycle for The Serpent Only Lies marks the return of original Crowbar bassistTodd "SexyT" Strange, who left the band back in 1999 but now joinsWindstein, drummer Tommy Buckley and guitarist Matt Brunson in forging Crowbar's future."Todd helped start the band, so having him back is important to me and, I think, the fans,"Windsteinoffers. "It's a great feeling to be standing onstage next to him. It's a breath of fresh air for the band and makes us stronger."
