A preview of a new track from "Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa", the forthcoming album by British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH, is now streaming on the album's mini-site. The track, titled "The Cult Of Venus Aversa", is also playing on the band's new iPhone app, which launched this week. The free app contains audio samples, videos, pics and allows you to keep up with all the latest news from the band. The app also has a top users function which awards users points every time they use the app (i.e. write on the fan wall, post photo, share items to Facebook and Twitter, listen to tracks) and then ranks these users.

The band is offering a special prize of a unique signed art print of the album's artwork plus a signed copy of the album to whoever is the top user at midday (U.K. time) on the day of release (November 1). Full terms and conditions are on the mini-site.
