Critically-acclaimed, Richard Christy-led metal act, Charred Walls of the Damned, has recently confirmed a slot on one of the biggest music festivals of 2012: Orion Music and More Fest. The fest, which will be held at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ on June 23rd and 24th, will feature dozens of bands as well as a Billabong All Out Air Assault Surfing Expedition, Custom Car + Motorcycle Show, and much more.

Richard Christy had this to say about performing at the festival: "I am beyond honored to be playing the Orion Music and More Fest with Charred Walls of the Damned! I've been a Metallica fan since the age of 12 and Lars Ulrich is a huge influence on my drumming, so to be invited by the mighty Metallica to play their festival is a dream come true to say the least. I was actually planning on attending this festival when I first heard about it and now to find out that we're actually playing just blows my mind! We'll see you at Orion Music and More!"

Charred Walls of the Damned's second album, Cold Winds on Timeless Days, was released on October 11, 2011. The album, much like its self-titled predecessor, received heaps of praise from fans and press.
