Denver metallic hard/grindcore quartet CALL OF THE VOID has announced the "Death Of The West" tour, a two-week run this Spring that will see the band pummeling venues across the central US. The band will also be supporting Relapse labelmates and grindcore heavyweights Pig Destroyer at shows in Chicago and Minneapolis. The tour kicks off this March 30 and will run through April 10 - a complete listing of dates is available below. This spring tour finds the Colorado up-and-comers following up on a very strong 2015, during which they released their critically-acclaimed sophomore LP Ageless and toured across the US, including an appearance at Southwest Terror Fest. A video of the band's full live set from Southwest Terror Fest can be viewed below. Additionally, Call Of The Void recently recorded a brand-new EP with Dave Otero at Flatline Audio in Denver. Details on that release, which is titled Are You Fucking Kidding Me, will be made available shortly. Call Of The Void Live 2016: Mar 30 Colorado Springs, CO Flux Capacitor

Apr 10 Des Moines, IA The Fremont *= with Pig Destroyer Call Of The Void unleashed its sophomore album, Ageless, a ferocious blast of sonic destruction, last February via Relapse Records. A pummeling fusion of crusty grind, sludgey hardcore and groove injected metal, Ageless was recorded and mixed by Andy Patterson (Subrosa, Eagle Twin, Gaza) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Integrity). The album sees Call Of The Void further sharpening its aggressively vitriolic sound into a fine-tuned display of hardcore savagery. Ageless can be streamed in its entirety here, and the official music video for "R.I.S." can be viewed here. |
