Godlike brings us an album full of high-quality alternative metal. The band's style is a combination of groove metal, melodic death metal and even thrash but with a completely different feel.

The album's lyrics deal with real-life events, although fictional stories are also included. Vocalist Jussi tells these tales with an impressively delivered mixture of rapping, screams and clean vocals – something that is not as common today as it was during the nu-metal boom of the late 90's and early 2000's.

Godlike's 2011 demo "Reanimate" received praise for its uniqueness and originality. The band stays on the same course with their debut album - beware.
