When NPR tells you this band's sound is "Really amazing stuff. Has a real 1950s/1960s sound to it that's (ironically) very fresh-sounding (to my ear)" You know you have something worth showing off!

The Royalty, a new band out of El Paso, Texas is about to hit the music scene hard with their first full-length album, Lovers out May 8, 2012.

MTV hit the nail on the head when they said The Royalty sounds, "like Amy Winehouse went on holiday with Vampire Weekend." This band resonates well with the hipster/indie crowd but can easily cross into all music tastes.
