JoJo Billingsley, who was a backing singer for LYNYRD SKYNYRD from 1975 for two years, has died from cancer at the age of 58.

Along with Cassie Gaines and Leslie Hawkins, she joined SKYNYRD in December 1975; the trio became known as THE HONKETTES. However, she was not on the ill fated flight which crashed on October 20th, 1977, killing several members of the band and road crew.
