Dehumanized

Despite that the name DENYALL can cause confusion concerning the music genre, this female fronted Finish band is a must and all the fans of melodic Metal will have to pay attention to their work. The guitarists Pajuta and Kallio formed DENYALL in 2006 and after two months they released their first demo Random Victims. Dehumanized is their second private release. Frankly, I haven't heard the first EP but I am quite convinced, from what I hear now, that their full length album will be awesome.
There are three tracks in this EP which combine heavy guitar riffs, atmospheric keyboards and have a hint of progressiveness. The voice of Terhi Palomaki integrates nicely with the whole package, evoking sometimes the aura of Liv Kristine. Dehumanized with blasting drums and relatively simple melody makes the start. Garden Of Condemned begins with a tenebrous melody. The orient air, the versatile compositions, the slurring, vigorous vocals of Riku Metsa Kerela, combined with the female tone, definitely make this track the pick moment of this EP. Late follows with same arrangements despite the fact that there are more key melodies present.
The production is super arranged, enormous sound covers all the instruments and the angelic voice of Pδlemaki is an asset. There are lots of bands in the field that DENYALL decided to be. Some of them, are NIGHTWISH, WITHIN TEMPTATION, LEAVES EYES, XANDRIA. The positive point is that this Finish group has presented very good effort not only in music but also in mixing arrangements. If they do continue like this, or even walk the extra mile, surely they will become a top notch band in their genre.
