Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: CRURIFRAGIUM; signed via Invictus Productions, hailing from the United States of America - performing Black/Death Metal, on their compilation album of the self-titled Demo and debut full-length record: "Beasts Of The Temple Of Satan" combined into one CD entitled: "Black Seed Of Brutality" (released June 6th, 2018).

Since formation in 2015; the quintet in question have only a Demo entitled: "Crurifragium" & a full-length album entitled: "Beasts Of The Temple Of Satan", both releases have been fused into one compilation entitled: "Black Seed Of Brutality". 8 tracks ranging at around 47:59; CRURIFRAGIUM arrange an intricately designed formula of Black/Death Metal amalgamations, starting off with the battering "The Tepid Waters of Feeble Baptism" - the quartet develop a hard-hitting slab of concretely solid savagery, juxtaposed with sinister technicalities. Fuelled with devilish dynamics, and a grandiose manifestation of hardened hymns that are executed consistently with deadly diverse variety while composed with profusely robust relentlessness.

Consisting of complex; powerhouse drummer Purveyor of Destruction, the pulverizer showcases extreme aggression as I advance to the next song "The Horns Of Power". Demonstrating distinguishable devastation, as he smashes his set with pummelling rage. Guitar duo and vocalists Sempiternal Atrocitor of Angelholocaust & False Prophet Goatmessiah distribute immeasurable anguish in their flamboyantly fierce dexterity creativity in the song "Efficience of Crucifixion (Crurifragium)", guttural growls with shrieking maliciousness balances a frightening characteristic - as the riffs and solos too are an abomination of blistering, electrical thunder - in a good way. "Stigmata Execruciation" explodes with more excruciating ramifications, hammering with distinctive contrast and gritty rawness.

As Misanthrofuhrer the Architect of Extinction brutally assaults his bass with audible aesthetics as "Flayed Angels / Exalted Blasphemous Trinity" establishes organic substances; while not fluidly polished, the excessively frienzied onslaughts progressively embellishes on radical intensity. This is perhaps my main gripe, as the rampaging remorse rapidly swifts with volatile stability and vehement angst - definitely not for casual or the faint of heart. "Slaughterers of the Flocks" persistently examines meticulous instrumentation and musicianship, primitively frolicking with hostile efficiency. Overall concluding the record with the final track: "Consecration Through the Standard of Blood / The Horns of Power" CRURIFRAGIUM certainly outdone themselves with this one.

Bottom line - the borderline foundation of this band is simply barbaric, angry and agonizing. I enjoyed the characteristic, although I could probably get tired of it soon enough. A good, experimental and enjoyable discovery though.<
