Cosmic Wool
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: COSMIC WOOL; signed via Nemesis Records/Vanity Music Group, hailing from the United States of America - performing Rock, on their debut album entitled: "Cosmic Wool" (released December 15th, 2017).
The rock quintet: COSMIC WOOL unveil their debut self-titled album in the year of 2017. Arranging an intricately designed slab of solid yet fuzzy developments of heavy-hitting, stoner rock distinctions - "Cosmic Wool" delivers a concrete formula of organic old-school psychedelic aesthetics. 8 tracks ranging at around 29:55, the quartet in question provide fluid attributions that have a grandiose manifestation of proficiently composed instrumentation and musicianship. "Hole For My Head" begins the record and immediately; I am grooving to a constructive songwriting process that consistently demonstrates elegant sound production adroitness all round so far.
Consisting of Rado Romo on lead vocals and pummeling bass executions, Rado distributes a complex element of exquisitely diligent vocal cords that stem from high-pitched to deep roughness. "Moonstone" showcases bouncy yet thumpy orchestrations from Nevada Romo on guitars/keyboards/backing vocals, supplying dexerrous efficiency - especially in "I Met A Girl", as simplistic as the song sounds it has an efficacious hook to it as the melodious contrast from second guitarist and keyboardist Drew Williams begin to captivate me and relentlessly stimulates the small bones of my ears with hardened yet easy-listening enlightenments. "Nina Cherry" is another fulfilling track, as the harmonies begin to grow more progressively technical with memorably catchy results.
Tom Frizzell on drums pulverizes his mettle with unique grit and flair, as "Only 2" establishes unprecedented substances of more rhythmic cymbal punchlines and a borderline foundation of dominate selubriousness. "Flower Of The Garden" has this very simplistic riff to it that drags on, yet it still manages to shine with uplifting creativity and detailed craftsmanship. "What I've Been Up To All Alone" has this equally mesmerizing tempo to it in which did not stop my feet from pounding, excelling with a rapidly swift tone that has a brilliant delight to it. Overall concluding this record with "#Lonely"; I am compelled to say that COSMIC WOOL exceeded all original expectations, and I surprisingly enjoyed a remarkable debut from the band.
Certainly worth the discovery, your money and time.
