A band that steadily ascended progression's steps and with great mastery and a low-profile obligated everyone to take a bow before its genius and the incomparable professionalism. Fabio Lione & Alex Staropoli - (Rhapsody)

Rhapsody is one of Italy's Metal prides. Probably the most influential Power/Symphonic Metal band around nowadays. A couple of months ago they released Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II -The Dark Secret which apart for the prima orchestral/symphonic parts (done by the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra ) also features narrations by the magnificent, the gigantic actor Christopher Lee (Hint for those who don't know him...he was Saruman in the Lord Of The Rings movie trilogy). Christopher Kinder - (Jon Oliva's Pain)

While Savatage has been paused for a certain time period (?) some musical forces couldn't and cannot be stopped (like for example Chris Caffery's awesome solo works). Jon Oliva is a creative force, a musical whirlwind that comes out of your speakers, lifts you up, spins you around and takes you to NeverNever Land! A mastermind's creation though needs more than just the mastermind in order to take form and in this case Jon Oliva shared his Pain with some really skilled gentlemen who to be frank I misjudged by their works with their previous band, Circle II Circle. Sometimes it takes the right man to make the world realize how good you are and the right man was J.O. for Christopher Kinder (drums), John Zahner (keyboard), Kevin Rothney (bass & backing vocals) and Matt Laporte (guitar). The band's debut record, Tage Mahal is indeed a very interesting release so we took the liberty of asking the most friendly Christopher Kinder a few interesting questions about the band, the touring (with the band's first shows being in Greece - one of them will be a special, acoustic show), the future, the past...Read on as this interview might interest you more than you would imagine!

Kevin Ridley - (Skyclad)

Skyclad's probably the most well known Folk Metal band in the book of Metal history. The band's course started in 1991 and together with x-singer Martin Walkyier they managed to create a distinguishing sound by using pipes, fiddles and all sorts of traditional instruments, combined with a Folk breathing core. Things though started to get tense within the band's borderlines and after Another Fine Mess (2001) Walkyier left the band. A new singer was found shortly after Martin had left and his name's Kevin Ridley. Together with Kevin, they released No Daylights Nor Heeltaps (2002) and now they are about to release their second album with Kevin as their singer, A Semblance Of Normality. We contacted Kevin via e-mail and here's what he had to say about a lot of issues concerning Skyclad's past, present and future...and of course a few questions about himself as a person.
