Does every genre in music has its Gods and its fools? I can't speak about fools but I am absolutely convinced that at least Heavy Metal always did have, still has and will always have Rob Halford, one of the very few people on this planet who fully, rightfully deserve to be called that, the magnum title of titles in Metal! Whether you're an amateur reporter, just a fan or a specialist in doing interviews, it doesn't matter. The shock of getting to talk to one of Metal's leaders, a person who stood there at the dawn of time before the wave came slamming down on our sorry asses, is irreversible.r>r>In this interview, simply put, you'll get to read about WHY Rob left JUDAS PRIEST, what happened in the meantime (FIGHT, TWO, HALFORD), what led to the grand return and what the future holds for all of us. After talking for almost an hour on the phone, I realized I simply wish more people were as decent, honest, polite and humorous as Halford, especially in the Music world. Live and learn! And the Metal God sure has tales to share with all of us. Behold!... Over 30 years of Heavy Metal and still here they are, standing tall, standing proud. In the dictionary of music, Judas Priest is THE definition of Heavy Metal, along with colossal acts Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, to which I always feel we owe... the soundtrack to our lives.

Little did I know as a kid that one day I'd get to meet Mr. Glenn Tipton (in 2001) in person and interview him. Even lesser knowledge did I possess of what was to happen one winter day in 2006 when the phone rang... Here is my interview with NOT just a bassist but one of Heavy Metal's fathers, one of Heavy Metal's founders. The polite, the intelligent, the humorous, the amazing Mr. Ian Hill!

Glenn Tipton - (Judas Priest)

They're many who tried to prove that they're faster, but they didn't last and they died as they tried. That's how it goes in Hell Bent For Leather but it certainly does not represent one of Metal's oldest guitar players, Glenn Tipton, as he seems to have lasted for more than three decades and will surely continue on giving us the best Heavy Metal hymns.

Judas Priest is a Metal monster and Glenn is standing right in the core of its existence, right in the center of its brain. During Rockwave Festival, here in Athens, while I was occupied taking photos of Cradle of Filth's live performance (just after Savatage and just before Megadeth) my cell phone started ringing like mad! I answered it and then I grabbed Manolis and we both started running like hell! We headed backstage, way backstage, full of anxiety and anticipation. After a sort time of getting lost (and found), finally we were there the door cracked open and there he was, sitting on the couch, holding one of his oldest guitars, smiling at us! Glenn Tipton, one of the finest guitar players in Heavy Metal (ever) was ready to give us a quite exclusive Interview!

After a period of absence due to various problems THE PRIEST IS BACK! Judas Priest are preparing to release their comeback album called Demolition. We had the honor to be among the first people to interview Tim The Ripper Owens here in Greece, just a couple of hours after his delayed arrival (due to his flight) at the Metropolitan Hotel.

Unfortunately, the whole interview schedule got a bit messy so we interviewed Ripper together with a Radio Station representative, Tommy, so this Interview is a sort of a collaboration. Visions of Terror - The Dark Triad

What I hear VISIONS OF TERROR play on “The Dark Triad” is a very nice combination of Melodeath and Modern Metal, with outbursts of Heavy Metal and Grindcore to boot. All of that is packed in short, direct and very intense songs that will have you at the edge of your seat. The advantage of such short songs is that they don’t get the chance to bore you, that you won’t find a note on their that isn’t needed.
