Zeno Morf - Kingdom Of Ice album cover

Riding with confidence under the flag of the Pure Steel tradition with a thorough formula and a classic approach in the Metal that they play, the Norvegian Veterans known as ZENO MORF are invading our headphones and our loudspeakers once again, with a blast of Old School, Heavy and true to the bone Hard Rock music. During fifty two minutes the flow of "Kingdom Of Ice" is monolithic, this third album is their best ever and as always, the Metallic Orthodoxy is fully respected. The gods of Steel will be honoured by their dedication in the headbanging faith and by such a powerful declaration of allegiance in the dark forces of mighty Heavy Metal.

Solid riffage, straight to the point gang vocals, think ACCEPT, RUNNING WILD, and JUDAS PRIEST with a slight NWOBHM twist in the lead guitar spots, even a tiny THIN LIZZY flavor for the cut "The Home Of The Brave". A few contemporary True Metal elements, the remaining parameters are displayed in a fierce attitude...So as you might know by now, there is not a single trace of innovation or originality, just an authentic spirit, a bold worshipping method, in order to pay their tribute to the Stainless Giants and their timeless sound. Only regrets, is that the lead vocals that aren't exactly at the same level, a constant strain on the edge that seems a little forced, notably on the power ballad "Lost". Their identity is similar to SYRON VANES meets DOMINUS PRAELLI, well Underground Metal Traditionalist, if you like.

The musical heritage is carefully set in the veneration mode with sincerity and dedication. The focus is to praise the loud, and believe me that the ZENO MORF's guys know how to do it, hammering their instrument with conviction, keeping the cult of the fire and its glory intact,  horns-up.
