Norway..?Denmark..?Sweden..?Nope, these guys found the way to widen the so called 'Scandinavian Black Metal Scene' down to Israel! The Israeli Winterhorde make their debut appearance with Nebula, an album that will surely won't stay unnoticed.  
The idea of the band dates back to 1999, where they began by playing atmospheric black metal under the name Autumn Palace. After a couple of demos, quite a few line-up changes, many successful live shows and the band's renaming to Winterhorde, they finally managed to record their promising first album Nebula through Burning Star Records. The current line-up finds them with Z.Winter in charge of vocals, guitars by Seth and Lex, bass by Celestial, Morgenrot in keyboards and Hesperus in drums.
The album is divided in three parts, having a prologue (Nebula: The Ultimate Redemption), an intermezzo (Propaganda) and an epilogue through the track Post Apocalypse Morning. The basic idea of Nebula is melodic Black Metal with a lot of Death Metal elements, speedy riffs, atmospheric keyboards and a show-no-mercy drummer. In the singing department, vocals vary from death growls to clean vocal lines and in tracks like The Earth Is An Altar, are accompanied with female ethereal vocals.  
A very good debut album from Winterhorde and a must-have for all the Dimmu Borgir and Crandle Of Filth fans.
