Vyre - Weltformel album cover

And here we are in another trip to space and science fiction in the hands of the VYRE band and their third studio album "Weltformel", released by Supreme Chaos Records on April 20, 2018. Apparently the spatial or pharaonic thematic has gained special attention of bands lately, in mainly for bands of the strands of greater weight, but what seems new to you already is a standard for the band VYRE that adopted the Avant-garde, the Post -Metal, Future, and Space travel, as a fixed line to follow, so I can say that this is a band with a very well-defined identity, and although many are not familiar with the more vicious lines of Thrash merged into these themes I prefer to insist that this set works very well in practice. You do not have to look too far to be sure, and VOIVOD is a great name in this industry.

I honestly love how "Alles Auf Ende" opens this job by providing a vision of the future with a familiar atmosphere for me here in Norway due to ARCTURUS.  The lines really remind me of their last work. I really appreciate the work of bands like this because they have very wide lines and no limitations, and I really like how guitars sound with the orchestrated part in "Shadow Biosphere."  I can say without a doubt that the instrumental part in its entirety sounds balanced, but I have some doubts about the style of the voice.  I think that even being accustomed to the style ranging from Death to Black Metal I still feel a little bit of effect on it.  I would really like to hear Cypher's voice a little sharper in some moments, but I like how she is willing in "Life Decoded".

"Weltformel" also brings back a lot of Progressive Metal and mixing it with this futuristic vision becomes really interesting in some respects, although I believe that what we find is very different from the patterns and may not appeal to everyone, but if you have an observation to make, it is without doubts about the sound quality, and this is an ingeniously elaborate album for it all sounds coherent. The cover art is well crafted and the production is excellent.

Highlight tracks: "Away Team Alpha" and "Tardigrade Empire".
