God The Lux

Oh yeah, here we are once again! Christian melodic Metal, full of principles about love, joy and the excitements this life has to offer! No, man, I am just kidding. What would you expect a band coming from Poland with such a name to be playing? Stryper Metal? These guys continue the tradition of Behemoth and other bands of that type of Black Metal in an evil and quite interesting manner. On the other hand if I was God, I would rather wash my delicate skin with olive oil soap and not with Lux! Ha!
Vesania's founding members Orion and Daray have done their time in Behemoth and Vader and are now writing their own chapter in the Polish Death/Black Metal book. God The Lux is a gripping debut of professional, well-presented Black Metal perversion and intensity, quite probable to be a big name in the scene for years to come. However if you do not dig this type of Metal, do not bother, not even for a while, to listen to them! It would just be a waste of time for ya! On the other hand, if you enjoy atmospheric and fierce Black Metal then this might be your band!
There is extensive use of keys here which will definitely give a Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth atmosphere to your ear, for sure. The album was recorded at various points in time between September 2004 and January 2005. The production is the result of collective work of the entire team of Vesania and sound engineers and the results are simply kind of devastating. The lyrics of this album are written and put together by Orion with quotations from various works of R. Bach, A. Crowley and a few anonymous medieval authors.
Are you an infernal hellish black metal fan? Do you dig the musical philosophy of bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Cradle Of Filth, Behemoth or Vader? Then you will definitely have a prime time for 66 minutes and 3 seconds while listening to this album! Let the infernal battle commence!
