Kiss The Pig
Today Is The Day

Grind is a very special case for those involved in it, either actively or passively. Short songs(usually), full of energy and rage, hammering down the eardrums and leaving a sense of a steamroller. Indeed special, but not easy or makeshift, as an ignorant would suppose. Today is The Day certificates all the above.
One of the most bizarre but equally interesting bands ever to appear in the grind scene. Music soggy with psychedelic adjustments and numerous rhythmic alternations, at times unimaginably groovy and erruptive. Some could call it 'Progressive aesthetic'; I simply call it...genius.
I wish I didn't have to write down all these lines and just say two words: BUY IT!. It's a colossal release that abstains only a little from being characterized as a classic, time will tell though. I'm not exaggerating dear friends, and honestly I didn't expect it to be like that.
I think that, so far, Kiss The Pig is their career's most varicolored and complicated release. It's really admirable, the fact that they manage to make short songs sound mazy and multi-structured like long-lengthen ones. Incredibly inventive riffs, sometimes twisted, that grandly unfold the talent and inspiration of the band.
It's not an easy album to be listening to, it's quite complicated and it requires repeated hearings to get the point. The production might sound strange and faint in the beginning, but it suits the music's style as it exhales a - straight in your face - feeling.
Grindaholics will love it. People that look for more experimental - radical music, will worship it. Don't sit empty-handed you fools! Go get it as soon as possible and grind your mind!
