With their new 10-tracked album "The Golden Age of Glitter", SWEET APPLE is back to take you on a trip down memory lane and to reminder you about what true Rock 'n Roll is all about. This album will be released on 8^th of April through the band's collaboration with Tee Pee Records, with no less than six of these tracks being set aside for future music videos.

With well-experienced veterans of other bands such as DINOSAUR JR. and COBRA VERDE, SWEET APPLE brings a whole blend of influences to shine in this album, with everything from Power Pop to Indie to good old Rock. The lyrical theme of the album focuses a lot on expanses and travelling, something commonly faced by a band so spread out geographically. This album also sees some guest musicians, notably Mark Lanegan, best known for his part in QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.

The album really brings in a bit of everything, from the wistful "Wish You Could Stay (A Little Longer)" incorporating uplifting guitar solos and leads that blend well with the underlying nostalgic feeling to slower, more romantic "Let's Take the Same Plane", to the more faster-paced Pop Rock style of "Boys in Her Fan Club" that drives the rhythm straight to your feet. Then of course there are the ridiculously catchy songs like "Trouble Sleep" and "Another Desert Skyline" that become instantly stuck in your head. "I Surrender" can seem a bit bland in comparison to the other tracks on the album, but this is made up for by the other tracks on the album.

All in all, "The Golden Age of Glitter" is a great feel-good, easy-listening Rock album that has its fair share of interesting and catch tunes, and is definitely worth giving a listen to.
