Six Feet Under - Graveyard Classics 2 album cover

The second volume of Graveyard Classics by Six Feet Under includes revisions from a legendary group in the history of Rock, adaptive in the style and brutallity of Six Feet Under. AC/DC have made a great evolution in the scene of Hard Rock. Of course many groups, even the most extreme (not only Rock acts), have many influences from AC/DC. One of this groups is Six Feet Under. And it's strange that a group like this, which is into extreme Death Metal, chose to make revisions of groups like AC/DC.
Six Feet Under is one of my favourite Death Metal groups, which I attended them from their first works. All the fans of Six Feet Under know very well that Chris Barnes was the frontman of Cannibal Corpse and Terry Butler was the bassist of Massacre and Death. All these guys, including Allen West (guitarist of Obituary), united and initially created the group as a side project. Until now they have issued five blasting studio albums, two albums with revisions and one live album.
As I said before I adore this group. And I followed them faithfully to every work they did. But I have a complain... Six Feet Under chose to cover bands with such history (most in Rock area) that aren't to be altered because of their own songs' perfection. AC/DC have wrote amazing songs in the history of Rock and cannot be compared with none and nothing. All the members of Six Feet Under are very good musicians and I don't say that they don't make the cover versions well, but they chose wrong songs. So even if you are a good musician, if you make covers of such historical songs, the only thing you succeed is make the songs sound empty (in reference to the authentics).
Symmary: I prefer Six Feet Under's own works, than listening to historical songs counterfeiting. And of course these songs in their original versions.
