Psychopunch - Smashed On Arrival album cover

What can you say about a group who's had a lot of gigs together with other groups like Gluecifer, The Nomads and The Hives?
Tomas Skogsberg (Hellacopters, Entombed and The Nomads) was behind the marvelous production of their last and very good album The Pleasure To Kill. The band's none other than a talented group from Sweden whose name is Psychopunch!!!
Six years have passed since the band started off and this year they're releasing their fifth album, Smashed On Arrival. Twelve high energy punk/Rock 'n' roll songs fill up this release. Although their style is similar to that of Hellacopters, Gluecifer and Nashville Pussy, I think they have their own unique personality!!
JM's dirty vocals, Joey's guitar solos and the dirty guitar sound, Peppe's and Jacke's rhythm section; all fit in perfectly and the whole result is like a tone of dynamite on a fast car!
The production has everything that a punk/rock 'n' roll album needs (Tomas Skogsberg again!). I think Smashed On Arrival is Psychopunch's best work!!
Smashed On Arrival must not be heard by people who have heart problems or people whose opinion is that music is a way to relax and calm down. We are talking about pure fucking punk 'n' roll. Just put this CD on your player as loud as you can and let the cops break your door!!!
