Prong - Power Of The Damn Mixxxer album cover

I never managed to understand this remix trend that some bands use to follow. We are used to seeing the remix word usually next to songs that play in clubs (and definitely not Metal ones) and... FUCK!!! Metal was never meant to end up like this! What the fuck is going on?

I am really not going t spend much time on such a release since I am really disappointed with the way things are going for our once beloved music (since now it is nothing more than the bitch everyone tries to rape). This great band amazed me with its last release, Power Of The Damager, but now comes to destroy everything with this piece of crap.

Power Of The Damn Mixxxer is actually the remix counterpart to PRONG's 2007 album. What the fuck is this supposed to mean? Many describe this band as Thrash Metal, Post-Thrash Metal, Industrial Metal... What do all these terms have in common? The word METAL! And this is definitely not Metal! I don't care who did the remix for each song (in case someone cares he can take a look at the tracklisting), and I don't even care if I sound like a pissed off bitch. It is just really disturbing to face such things in the so called aggressive and non compromising music.

If you are a club DJ and you have been sick and tired of Tiesto, this is a great release to play! Everyone will dance without even realizing that they are dancing under the sounds of a band that used to be a Metal one.
