Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: MALPHAS; signed via Via Nocturna Records, hailing from the United States of America - performing Blackened, Melodic Death Metal, on their debut album entitled: "The 39th Spirit" (released October 26th, 2018).

Since formation in 2012; the band in question have only a Demo, an EP and this here album entitled: "The 39th Spirit" in their discography so far (of which I am introduced to). 10 tracks ranging at around 44:37; MALPHAS arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Blackened, Melodic Death Metal developments. "Involking The 39th Spirit" begins the record; conveying amplified adrenaline, assisted with adroit attributes and ambiently atmospheric aesthetics of boistrously bouncy amalgamations in which converges concretely gritty hymns - hardened with hasty harmonies and distinct, darkened deadliness of a profusely robust ramifications. The band deliver a grandiose manifestation of granduer gratification of chugging gallops; culminated with chaotic mayhem, meticulous rhythms and relentless savagery.

Consisting of Paul DeSanctis on vocals/guitars/symphonics; the frontman demonstrations flamboyant firepower in his arsenal of guttural growls and raspy pipes, distributing persistently sinister specialities. "Volcanic Winter" is a 1:31 interlude; showcasing symphonic terror, with a progressively tehnical twist - as the mighty "Floods (An Act Of God)" provides organic substance of riveting variety. Damian DiFrancesco also on guitar/backing vocals contrasts with complex dexterity; dominantly establishing diligently composed consistency; implementing constructively distinguished barrages of frenzied fabrications, elementing diverse crunchiness of creatively dynamic craftsmanship. "Legions" blisters with thunderously primitive maliciousness, frolicking with unique ultilizations & vehement versatility.

Powerhouse drummer Eric Dunleavy batters and hammers his kit with efficient executions, inventively jumping with thumpy pummelling proficiencies. "You Will Lead My Armies" injects infectiously detailed instrumentation; energized with crushing hostility, malevolence and solid slabs of skill. "Red Constellations" examines experimental folk finesse, collectively infusing gnarly heaviness with seamlessly sonic submerges of subjugated stability. "Visions Of The Burning Darkness" captures conceptual combustions of enlightenments, engaged on prodegiously ponderous salubriousness and meaty weight while wonderously supplying a borderline foundation of rapidly swift nimbleness and quirky soundscapes - remedies that stomp with subtle songwriting memorability and originality.

"Spells Of Destruction" shines on with more speedy viciousness, ultilizing versatile and unprecedented results that reveal phenomenal momentum. MALPHAS acutely doses listeners up with fulfilling enjoyment, exciting ingenuity & sheer sharpness of viruosity. "Heaven's Fall 1 Condemnation" is the first of two overall concluding tracks; balanced with characteristics, differentiated with ambient atmospheres and bouncy catchiness in which excels with roaring shreiks and pounding symphonies that scream with a vengeance. "Heaven's Fall 2 The Aftermath" finalizes this doubly compiled forge of blackened darkness, and the bottom line is here is that this here band certainly outdone themselves with "The 39th Spirit".
